Turning Minecraft into Mine-Cake at Showcase Cinemas

To celebrate the release of A Minecraft Movie at Showcase Cinemas, we cooked up a tasty surprise and delight for film fans.

Working with renowned food artist, we promoted the creativity of Minecraft by creating hyper-realistic cakes that look like they’ve been built straight out of the game.

The cakes consisted of poplar cinema snack staples from popcorn to nachos and even a Showcase recliner!

We displayed the sweet treats in the cinema lobby and shot the entire creation.

The result? A tasty flurry of national and regional coverage.
