In a busy week where we’ve seen two RAF engineers charged with stealing a Paddington Bear Statue, the ‘Men Behaving Badly’ stars reunite for new travel show and actress Sally Lindsay confirmed to host a new TV comedy quiz, it’s not exactly been quiet on the PR front either.
Samsung and EE launched a 25-hour skatepark event, bubbly brand Moët & Chandon flew a champagne cork balloon over Melbourne and supermarket Aldi launched a campaign to break the cycle of period poverty. Not a great week for former MMA star Conor McGregor though after he was branded a national embarrassment to Ireland.

ALDI ACTS ON PERIOD POVERTY
Aldi has launched a new Period Poverty Campaign to show that access to period products is a basic right, not a privilege.

CONOR LEAVES HIS HOME NATION RED-FACED
Former MMA world champ Conor McGregor has caused a huge fuss in his home country and his antics branded a national embarrassment in Ireland this week.
Following a St Patrick’s Day meeting with USA President Donald Trump at the White House
McGregor said that “Ireland is on the cusp of losing its Irishness” and an “illegal immigration racket” was “running ravage on the country” causing an immediate backlash.
Many in Ireland were angry that such a controversial celebrity was representing their country in Washington and took to social media to condemn him. Ouch!
