Brazen is officially a quarter of a century old.
Honestly… where did that time go?
It’s been 25 years since we first opened our doors, and what a ride it’s been.
From a fledgling start-up to a 40-strong (and growing) Employee Ownership Trust, we’ve spent the last two decades delivering brilliantly brazen, daring, and occasionally downright bonkers, PR for our incredible clients.
And the truth is, we don’t take any of it for granted.
Giving back,
not looking back
To mark our 25th year, we’re not just celebrating, we’re doing something more meaningful.
Instead of looking back, we’re giving back… to a cause that’s been close to our hearts throughout our journey: Seashell Trust.
We’ve set ourselves a bold target:
Seashell Trust is an incredible Cheshire-based charity providing specialist education and residential care for children and young people with some of the most complex learning disabilities in the UK. They offer a holistic approach with a School, College, 17 home-from-home care houses and sports and wellbeing facilities.
Their work changes lives, and we’re proud to support them.

The Brazen Way: Big, Bold Fundraising
This wouldn’t be Brazen if we didn’t push ourselves a little (or a lot).
Over the coming months, the team will be stepping well outside our comfort zones to raise funds, including:
Cycling the 100K Tour de Manc
Running The Great Manchester 10K
Taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks in under 12 hours
Skydiving (yes, really)
Attempting a sponsored non-swearathon (arguably the toughest challenge of all)
The Main Event:
Strictly Seashell 2026
And the icing on the cake…
Our very own Managing Director, Sasha Makel, will be swapping the boardroom for the ballroom as she takes part in Strictly Seashell 2026 - A Night at the Musicals on May 16.
She’ll be performing alongside a professional dance partner at one of the charity’s biggest fundraising events of the year, hosted by the fabulous Gethin Jones.
Let’s just say… she’s taking it very seriously.
A Final Note
To Sasha’s fellow Strictly competitors, consider this a friendly warning.
She’s just a little bit competitive.
