40 years of Joy for QD Stores

1 in 3 shoppers want more community-led in-store experiences. Combined with the insight that bargain hunting brings Brits genuine joy, QD’s 40th birthday became an opportunity to turn value into a nationwide celebration.

Idea

To celebrate 40 years of QD, Brazen launched a national “40 Acts of Joy” event-led campaign, bringing joy to aisles and communities through a trolley dash with Jake Quickenden, social giveaways, in-store activations and a headline-grabbing Freddo rollback. The campaign generated widespread press coverage, sold out Freddos nationwide and drove a +3% store uplift over rollback weekend.
