Nearly half of Brits wrongly believe potatoes cause weight gain, holding back a naturally nutritious staple. We spotted an opportunity to challenge outdated perceptions and reposition potatoes as a modern day superfood, driving fame for the launch of Nanna Tate.
Idea
We put potatoes back on the fitness agenda with the UK’s first “potato-powered” workout. Partnering with fitness influencer and foodie Alice Liveing, we hosted an immersive media event where guests took part in a high energy class; fueled by potatoes, followed by a taste test of healthy, delicious recipes. Supported by national news and influencer content, the campaign reframed potatoes as a performance food, creating a new narrative for a new brand.
