Potholes are a growing frustration for UK drivers, with rising repair costs and widespread media interest, but there was a lack of credible data showing the true scale of the problem.
Idea
We launched Tesco Insurance’s first ever Newsroom story using internal claims data to reveal the true cost of pothole damage. A strong, simple stat positioned Tesco as a helpful voice on a nationwide issue, driving high-impact national coverage across titles including the Daily Mail, Mail Online, Daily Star, Daily Express and Daily Telegraph.
