This month marks two years since Facebook Live launched. The number of daily average broadcasts from verified publisher pages has lifted by 1.5 during the past year. Facebook released a number of keys stats to celebrate its anniversary…
The platform claims that the feature wins six times more interactions than regular video.
There’s also been 3.5 billion broadcasts, and over 150 billion reactions to live videos.

SNAPCHAT BULKS UP ON LOCATION-BASED TARGETING

Snapchat is continuing its push on owning location-based advertising. This week it has rolled out two new tools that include advanced location targeting and an instore tool that lets advertisers track traffic at their brick-and-mortar locations.
One of the new features allows you to target by a location category, such as a beach, university or theatre. For example, a swimwear brand could target people currently on a beach nationwide.
