 What?

Diesel sells ‘fake’ clothing created to mock the knock-off culture in fashion and to promote its #GoWiththeFlaw campaign.

Who and When?

International fashion brand Diesel set up a pop-up shop selling a knock-off collection that it had actually designed named ‘Deisel’. The pop up shop was set up on Canal Street in New York City, a location well known for selling fake fashion goods.

Where?

The campaign was covered globally with pieces on the Metro, Vogue, Dazed, Women’s Wear Daily, Marie Claire and more.

Why?

Diesel used a threat to the fashion industry as an opportunity to secure global media coverage and drive awareness from its campaign. So good, the limited collection has now become a collectors item as a result.

Monopoly released a ‘Cheaters Edition’ of the popular board game broke the internet this month following rave reviews.

Who and When?

The famous board game from Hasbro has released a Cheaters Edition which encourages players to break the rules with cheat cards containing evil challenges.

The campaign was covered internationally in the Independent, the Mirror, the Metro, People, CNET, the Sun, the Huffington Post, USA Today and many more.

Why?

Monopoly, despite being almost 100 years old, continues to reinvent itself time and again and garner worldwide fame (and sales) as a result.

CONOR COMES TO BLACKPOOL


What?

Brazen client, Madame Tussauds Blackpool unveiled its Conor McGregor wax figure.

Who and When?

Madame Tussauds Blackpool unveiled its new Conor McGregor wax figure in his signature pose on the anniversary date of his five year UFC deal.

Where?

The campaign received a lot of press attention and was covered nationally including pieces on the Mail Online, The Sun, The Mirror, the Daily Star, the Daily Record and more.

Why?

The wax figure gained national attention due to the accuracy of the design, especially compared to the failed Irish version by a smaller attraction, which looked nothing like him and received bad press.

3 BILLBOARDS UK


What?

3 billboards were unveiled close to the Grenfell site in the style of the recent award-winning film, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Who and When?

Justice4Grenfell, with BBH Labs, recreated the scene from ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ to highlight the lack of justice 8 months on from the tragedy.

Where?

The visual stunt received coverage on BBC News, The Guardian, Huff Post, Evening Standard, and even crossed the Atlantic appearing on ABC News.

Why?

The government is currently accused of  inaction following the death of 71 of the building’s residents – the cunning visual stunt puts the fictional film’s theory into practice and has been used to increase public awareness and action from the council and government.

What?

Brazen, client Chicago Town timed the launch announcement of its newest flavor, mac & cheese to coincide with National Pizza Day, while UK grocer, Morrisons created a Yorkshire Pudding pizza.

Who and When?

Yorkshire pudding and mac & cheese were added to the well loved pizza products for these two cunning culinary items

Where?

The news received coverage in a number of national media outlets, including The Sun, The Independent, and Metro, as well as top social outlets LadBible, UniLad, Pretty 52.

Why?

Using a national day for PR success is an oldie, but a goodie!

What?

Following a 2 week ordeal which saw branches of KFC close up and down the country due to a shortage of chicken, the fried chicken chain released an apology advert.

Who and When?

KFC took out a full page advert in The Sun and Metro to apologise to the nation for the inconvenience over the past 2 weeks with a genius twist on its brand name.

Where?

While they chose the Metro and Sun to place the ads, the hilarious stunt secured them global coverage and positive chatter on social.

Why?

KFC managed to turn round what could have been a PR disaster into a PR master-stroke and by using humour won them public favour and brand love.
