As we say arrivederci to August and alright our kid to Autumn we’ve seen some spectacular end-of-summer PR campaigns land this week.
Supermarket Iceland handed a lifeline to millions of cash-strapped Brits, Brazen client Chicago Town gave us sausage and blueberry pizza and online marketplace OnBuy, also a Brazen client, won headlines galore with a Christmas Barbie prediction. It was a difficult week for tennis champ Nick Kyrgios though as he was sued by a Wimbledon spectator.

Iceland hands lifeline to Brits with plan to cut bills
Frozen food specialist Iceland has teamed up with energy supplier Utilita for a new initiative to help households knock £604 off their annual bills.
In an attempt to protect customers from the eye-watering price rises threatening to push households into fuel poverty, Iceland and Utilita have drawn up a blueprint of energy-saving measures. The “Shop Smart, Cook Savvy” initiative is based on research from Utilita, offering easy solutions and advice on how to save money in the kitchen.
The two firms are advising households to use the cheaper utilities like air fryers and microwaves more often in order to save on bills.
Chicago Town introduce Sausage and Blueberry pizza
Fruit on pizza might well be the most divisive choice in the history of the popular dish, so anyone who hates pineapple on their pizza should look away now.
Brazen client Chicago Town has introduced a new Deep Dish pizza topped with blueberries, claiming customers want to try more adventurous fruity toppings.
The leading pizza brand debuted its new Deep Dish sausage and blueberry pizza at four UK festivals this summer.
The new variant is already sparking the kind of conversation which makes the classic ham and pineapple debate seem tame, as tonnes of media coverage racked up this week.
The Australian player became frustrated during his Centre Court final against Novak Djokovic last month, shouting at the umpire to do something about a ‘drunk spectator’.
The spectator in question, Anna Palus, was escorted out of the arena before being allowed back in. And she has now threatened to take Kyrgios to court over his outburst, branding his allegations ‘reckless and entirely baseless’.
