HOW WE CREATED A KITCHEN SINK DRAMA TO TURN A CORPORATE CONFERENCE INTO THE MUST-ATTEND EVENT OF THE YEAR

Make it happen Magnet Kitchens, Brazen’s client of 13 years and the UK’s leading kitchen retailer with 222 stores UK-wide, tasks Brazen with masterminding its Winter Annual Sales Conference every year, rallying over 350 store managers ahead of the crucial New Year sales period.

What we did In 2016, Event Management PR experts, Brazen, created and hosted a showpiece day-long event headlined by special guest, motivational speaker Jez Rose – a behaviourist, broadcaster and award-winning author. He works globally with organisations to help them ‘flip the switch’ and achieve extraordinary results with simple changes to how they think. The event also featured live music, kitchen sets, live entertainment and live demos, lunch and a stunning evening meal.

Held at Manchester Central, the fifth annual conference for Magnet was compered by sports presenter Mandy Henry. Members of the senior Magnet team delivered inspiring presentations before an awards ceremony to celebrate the team’s hard work.

The conference was attended by 350 delegates, comprising of store managers, regional sales teams and the contract sales team, as well as key central functional colleagues from Marketing, Finance, HR & Training, IT and Supply Operations and Directors from Magnet’s Swedish parent company, Nobia.

Brazen organised all aspects of the event and conference, including branding, logistics, audio visual requirements, installation of the kitchen sets, catering, accommodation, entertainment and stage management.

Screen time 350 delegates including representatives from parent company Nobia and Magnet Kitchens regional managers entertained, massively engaged and hugely motivated for the year ahead.
